Segment 4
The war on Christmas has boiled up again. Multiculturalism says that we must not offend anyone from a different culture, so, of course, we call Christmas, the holiday season or some other Godawful name. Why is that? First it was wrong to have Christmas creche's on public lands. Then it was wrong to have any expression of religion on public lands. Then it was improper to have it in malls. Then it was improper to have it in stores. Now it is improper to send Christmas cards. Again, why does that make sense?
Is Christianity such a bad religion that it must be banned from all areas? I don't understand that.
You know the Puritans had a REALLY low crime rate. They had such a low crime rate that they could invent weird religious crimes that caused them to put people in the stocks for public ridicule. I sometimes feel that we have gone to the other extreme. I mean, now we have atheists pillorying Christians as part of their drive to eliminate... something. I'm not sure what. I mean, it seems like atheists and their enablers are so offended by religion that they will do anything to eliminate it from our culture. Why does that make sense?
