I got to tell you this story I heard. The Kalahari desert is in South Africa. The Blacks who live in the Kalihari are really tough individuals. Water is a big deal. Finding water is tough. One the Kalahari bushmen find water is to ask baboons where the water is.
You say, 'Huh? How do you communicate with the baboons?'
Well, it really isn't a very nice conversation when you get right down to it.
Most people don't know this, but Southern Whites up until the Civil Rights movement spent almost all their political capital in maintaining Jim Crow and segregation. Because the White would not let loose of Jim Crow, the entire South lagged behind the rest of the nation in development. What I mean is that mechanization of farming proceeded during the 1930's, 1940's and the 1950's. The South didn't do that. Because the artificially kept down the wages of Black, they were able to harvest the crops using the age old share cropping method. When jobs opened up in the North during World War II, huge numbers of Blacks moved North. The Whites had to start mechanizing. They weren't happy about that.
When the South let loose of Jim Crow, then the Sunbelt exploded. Firms started moving South. Air conditioning allowed people from the North to endure the summers. The Northerners REALLY loved the Southern winters, so they started migrating South. Up until Jim Crow disappeared Whites voted for the Democratic Party at the 90% level. Since Blacks in the South mostly couldn't vote, the Democrats had an incentive to keep them down. You got to remember that Republicans in Brazos County were mostly Black up until 1952. Those Blacks who COULD vote, voted at the 90% level for Republicans.
The White in the South up until the Civil Right movement were doing something stupid. Really stupid. Like the baboon I just told you about, they thought that segregation and Jim Crow was in their best interest. It wasn't. The only ones who benefitted were the Democrats. I mean, it was stupid to hold onto Jim Crow, because it cause investment to go elsewhere.
Now most people assume that Southerners jumped to the Republican Party because they wanted to be where the racists were. I mean, if you listen to Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton and almost any leader of the Democratic Party, all Republicans are racists, sexists and homophobic.
The truth is that freed from having to back a party that supported segregation they moved onto other issues. Southerners are religious, patriotic and family oriented. In 1972, the Democratic Party embraced the Left with both arms. The core values of the Left are secularism, multicultural and feminist. As one person put it, "The Democrats opened the door and people left in droves."
Now we turn to the Blacks what are they doing that's so stupid? They're holding on the preferential treatment and welfare and all these other government programs. That's a stupid idea. preferential treatment doesn't work. It's a stupid idea.
Let me tell you this thing I found out about preferential treatment. A Black kid going to a major university on preferential treatment has a one chance in seven of graduating. The only way they can graduate is if he or she buckles down and works REALLY hard, harder than the people who got in on merit OR their SAT scores are near the average of the school they enroll in.
Almost every aspect of preferential treatment doesn't work. For instance, minority set asides don't work. They encourage cheating. I mean, a White guy sets up a Black guy as a front so he can get an edge over his competitors.
Welfare and all the other government programs to help Blacks instead hurt them. Look. Right now. 70% of Blacks are born in single parent families. 50% of all Black males drop out of high school. Even though Black males make up less than 12% of the population, they make up 50% of the male population in American jails. If that's success, then I have to say, "I sure would hate to see failure."
What I find really fascinating about this is that Blacks are now voting for the Democratic Party at the 90% level. All the outreach by Republicans have failed to convince Blacks that preferential treatment and all the government programs intended to help them are hurting them.
I find this all very, very funny, because the Democratic Party kept Blacks down from their beginnings in the 1820's until the 1960's. They purported to help Southern Whites and didn't. I mean, the Presidency didn't go to a Southerner from the 1870's until the 1970's. Six out of the last nine Presidents are from the South.
Now, the Democrats have the Blacks at the 90% level and Blacks are mostly ignored by BOTH parties. Except Democrats in their rush to help Blacks have by my standards destroyed them.
So you have a situation today that is a mirror image of the one fifty years ago. And again, the Blacks have grabbed hold of something that's worthless and won't let go even though it's been proved to be worthless. The only ones benefitting is the Democratic Party.
I know, I'm not supposed to say things like this. It's just that I find it all so crazy. Jim Crow by my standards was more evil than slavery, because under Jim Crow the aether of communities was poisoned. Bigotry is a negative emotion. With bigotry and hypocracy together, make for a bad mix in a community. The Whites in the South knew it was wrong to treat Blacks that way, but did it anyway. It wasn't until they freed the Blacks that they freed themselves.
Now Blacks are going to have to free themselves of the belief that Whites Republicans are just dying to bring back the bad ol' slavery days. It makes no sense to me that Blacks believe that. A Conservative does not repudiate established presedent. Why was the Republican Party formed? We were formed to free the slaves. Why exactly would we be interested in bringing back slavery or Jim Crow? I mean, Republicans fought throughout the 1930's for an antilynching law. We tried like hell to pass the Civil Rights Act of 1957. Why should Republicans want to suppress Blacks? If you say because we want to hold public office and Blacks are in the way, well, sorry. We don't see it that way. Because of demographics, Blacks and Leftists, together, have become too small a proportion of the population to win national elections.
You did know that Blacks and White Liberal disproportionately use abortion. That means that Blacks and White Liberals are slowly dying out. In twenty years the proportion of Blacks in this country will be under 10%. White Liberals will most likely drop below 20%. 10+20 do not make 50%. It's called the Roe Effect. As a political movement you have to have at least 40% solidly behind you to win the Presidency. There are 27% White Liberals in this country and 12% Blacks right now. 12+27 does not equal 40%.
In 2006, The Democrats will lose seats in the House and the Senate and be unable to understand why. What's more, they can't do anything about it. You see, the White Liberals are like that baboon as well. They cannot let loose of abortion as one of their major issues. Abortion is a bad idea. It kills off your babies. Just as the Muslims I mentioned in the first part of the show are having more babies than Westerners, so are Conservatives having more babies than Liberals.
The moral of the story is don't sit there and let people take advantage of you, let loose of the useless stuff and move on.

Here's how it goes. There's these termite mound that are over six foot tall in the Kalahari. The Black guy has this stick carved in the shape of a baboon's hand. The Black guy wants the baboon to show him where the water is. The baboon isn't going to do it. So what the Black guy does is make a big deal of walking up in front of a termite mound and punching a hole in the side of the termite mound. The baboon is watching trying to figure out what the guy is doing. Then the Black guy takes out this pouch and shows the baboon that there are some REALLY tasty seeds in his hand. The baboon sees the seeds, but doesn't approach. The Black puts the seeds into the hole and walks off. The baboon isn't stupid. He walks around the termite mound looking to see whether the Black guy is gone.Okay. What's that got to do with anything? It has to do with three very stupid sets of people in this country.
Well the Black guy IS gone. After making sure of this, the baboon rushes over to the hole in the termite mound and puts his hand into the hole in the termite mound and grabs hold of the seeds.
Here's the problem, when the baboon makes a fist, he can't get the seeds out. He can have the seeds or he can get his fist out. Now the baboon does something really stupid. He won't let loose of the seeds and he just sits there. Now the Black guy comes back. The baboon won't let loose of the seeds, so he's stuck. The Black guy comes right up and puts a noose on the baboon's neck and drags him over to a stake in the ground. He ties the baboon to the stake out in the sun and waits in the shade. After a while the Black guy goes out there and puts some salt where the baboon can get to it.
The baboon chows down on the salt and is THIRSTY. Damn is he thirsty. So the Black guy cuts him loose. The Baboon runs immediately to the closest watering hole which could be really small. The Black guy now knows where some water is. Those Kalahari bushmen are real smart or rather they are willing to learn.
